Wow! over 25 years, still counting, still enjoying all the head scratching and lightbulb moments that go into creating a "one of a kind" design for my clients.
Active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) since 1996. Keeping-up on the latest innovations through continuous education on all topics related to the industry.
My vision is my own. Self-taught, sometimes influenced by past design periods, usually my own interpretation. You will often find a unique piece, sometimes whimsical or quirky incorporated into my designs, which distinguishes my projects apart from others.
My knowledge of the design industry was acquired through years of hands-on experience and experimentation, through research of materials and manufacturing techniques, and always with my client's vision in mind. As a creative person I enjoy contributing to the influence of a new culture in design.
Maybe you are wondering how I have spent my last 25 + years as a designer, well I relate it to the life of a music writer and/or music producer. The one behind the scenes that does all the writing (designing), all the producing (planning) with little or no recognition. Because I love to design and "hands-on" in the execution of the design I really did not care much about the recognition as long as I was challenged with creating interiors that others found innovative and exciting.
So here is a brief outline of how I spent my time designing;

- Design Team member for a Luxury Builder along Chicago's North Shore, designed projects for Luxury Homes whom we seldom knew whether the client was a professional athlete, actor, TV personality or prominent business owner. We always worked with their designer team on the projects, when your that successful you can hire all the designers you need!
- One of two designers who designed the interior of a Kohler (Canac) Kitchen and Bath showroom in Glenview, IL
- Projects for architects, custom builders and many projects of my own

So why move to Indy, well my daughter lives in Indy and I have a granddaughter and a grandson that I throughly enjoy visiting as well as the rest of my family scattered throughout Indiana, so you might have guessed yes I was born and raised in Indiana.
I don't expect to design to many interiors in Indy for actors (haven't seen many hanging around town) just clients who are looking for a designer that enjoys creating those "one of a kind", "beyond the norm" personalized spaces and will design a quality interior using the latest materials from around the world. If you appreciate art in the form of cabinetry, furniture and objects for your home I am here to help make your dreams come true!
